Lorenzo Amoruso joined Glasgow Rangers FC in the Summer of 1997/98 season. He made his debut in the Celtic Rangers derby, straight in at the deep end. Sadly he only made 4 league appearances ,and was badly injured requiring three operations on his Achilles tendon - he was out of the game for 10 months. This was very hard for him to handle, but Dick Advocaat showed what he thought of his star defender from Italy,and made him club captain in the 1998/99 season. Now Lorenzo Amoruso is worshipped in the blue part of Glasgow lifting the treble. Again in 2000 he led the Glasgow Rangers FC team to success in the league, but was injured for the cup. But when you think that Rangers are the only side in Scotland that can win trophies out pop's Celtic to destroy all them thoughts so if you asked Lorenzo Amoruso which of all his achievements at Rangers he treasures the most, i am sure he would say the double over Celtic in the 2002/03 season which saw Rangers win the title on the last day by goal difference.
