Michael Mols joined Rangers FC for a fee of £4,000,000 in 1999. He scored two goal's on his debut against FA HAKA in Finland. What a start! He was a hero. Then, he went to work in the Scottish Premiership with equal success, scoring 5 goals in two games at the start of the season - he was an instant hit with the Rangers fans. But unfortunately the Dutch wizard was injured playing against Bayern Munich and needed an operation, ruling him out until August 2000. But like all the great players Michael Mols came back a better all round player, sometimes you need a injury so you can take time to think how lucky you are playing a game you love and getting paid a fortune for your services. Micheal will go down in the hall of fame for Rangers for all the match winning goals he scored in the famous 2002/03 season.
