Rob Wallace signed for Rangers in the summer of 1998. He signed under the Bosman ruling for a free transfer. What a bargain ! He started to work on the opposition defence, scoring on his debut and going on to score 27 goals in 51 appearances in his first season. In 1999/2000 he had several injuries and still ended the season joint top striker with 20 goals. Rod has also represented his country as an England B player - many thought his time will come to break into the full England Squad but it did not. Rob Wallace is getting on a bit in football terms and was sold by Rangers FC in 2001 so they could bring in some new younger Players.
